First it was a hockey rink. Now it is Strykersville’s home for Pickleball. Same commitment. Different sport.
We ran a youth program out of it for over 220 kids in this community.
Some of those kids are adults now with kids of their own.
Last summer I looked at that same facility and asked myself what this community needs next.
The answer was four pickleball courts. So that is what I built.
I did not do a market study. I did not hire a consultant.
I just know this town and I know what brings people together.
I have been doing this long enough to trust that instinct.

Four courts with lights so you can play into the evening. Open seven days a week starting at 8am. A Rotation League on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm with Men’s, Women’s, and Couples divisions that is already building something special.
And here is the part people cannot believe when they hear it. Court time is donation-based. Book your court, show up, play, and pay whatever feels right to you. That is not a promotion. That is just how we do things here.
Tom built this court for this community. The least he can do is make it easy to get on it.
One thing worth knowing before you come out. We do not have a restroom on site yet. We are working on it. In the meantime plan accordingly and know that everything else about this facility is worth the trip.
