Let's be honest: the fitness industry has a reputation problem.
You've probably met that trainer. The one who yells motivational quotes at you while you're dying on a treadmill. The one who doesn't actually listen when you say your knee hurts. The one who got their certification online last month and thinks every 50-year-old should be doing box jumps.
Yeah. That's not us.
Here's the thing about small group personal training at The Fit Stop: it’s only as good as the people leading it. And if you’re here for the ultimate fitness experience—the kind where you feel coached, seen, and supported—it starts with having the right humans on the floor with you.
And I'm not just saying this because I own the place, our coaching team is legitimately stacked with people who know their stuff and actually give a damn about you getting results.
So let me introduce you to the crew. These aren't random trainers we pulled off the street. These are the folks who turn “I guess I should work out…” into “honestly, I can’t wait to get in there.”
Because the ultimate fitness experience isn’t about fancy equipment or tough talk. It’s about coaching that clicks, a room that feels welcoming, and a plan you can actually stick with.
I'm your first point of contact, and honestly, that's how I like it. When you walk through our doors wondering if this is the right fit for you, I want to be the one who sits down and listens to what you're actually trying to accomplish.
Maybe you're getting back into fitness after years away. Maybe you've tried three different gyms and hated all of them. Maybe you have no idea where to start and feel embarrassed about it (don't be, we've all been there).
My job isn't to sell you on some cookie-cutter program. It's to figure out what's going to work for you and connect you with the right coach on our team. Because here's what I've learned after years in this business: the best workout program is the one you'll actually stick with.

Gavyn has a 4-year Exercise Science degree, which sounds fancy because it is. But what makes him special isn't just the credentials, it's that he's obsessed with helping people move better.
Not bigger. Not faster. Better.
He runs our Elite Athlete Construction program for kids and sports performance training, and watching him work is like watching someone speak a different language. He can spot a movement dysfunction from across the room and fix it with a simple cue that makes everything click.
If you're dealing with nagging injuries, movement issues, or you just feel "off" when you exercise, Gavyn's your guy. He'll rebuild your foundation so your body actually works the way it's supposed to.
Hannah is CrossFit Level 1 certified, which means she knows how to program challenging workouts that actually make sense. But here's what I love about Hannah: she brings all the intensity of CrossFit without making you feel like you joined a cult.
She's great at scaling workouts for different fitness levels, which is crucial in small group training where you might have someone who just had knee surgery working out next to someone training for a Spartan race. Everybody gets pushed. Nobody gets left behind or injured trying to keep up.
Plus, she's just fun to be around. She'll push you hard, but she's also the first one to crack a joke when the workout gets brutal.
Becky is a Physical Therapist Assistant, which means she understands the rehab side of fitness better than most trainers ever will.
You know that fear of "what if I hurt myself" that keeps a lot of people from starting? Becky makes that fear evaporate. She knows exactly how to modify movements for past injuries, current limitations, or chronic pain issues.
She's especially great for anyone who's been told by a doctor to "start exercising" but has no idea how to do that safely. Becky bridges that gap between rehab and fitness better than anyone I've ever worked with.

Ryann was a coach on "The Biggest Loser," and while that show had its drama, here's what it taught her: sustainable lifestyle change beats dramatic transformations every single time.
She's seen what happens when people try to change everything overnight (spoiler: it doesn't stick). So she's become a master at helping people make realistic, incremental changes that actually become habits.
If you're someone who's tried and "failed" at fitness before, Ryann gets it. She's not here to put you on some extreme plan. She's here to help you build something that lasts.

Sarah is a CrossFit and functional training superstar, and when I say superstar, I mean it. This woman can deadlift a small car and then explain the biomechanics of why your hip hinge matters for everyday life.
But what makes Sarah exceptional isn't just her strength, it's how she translates functional fitness into real-world benefits. She's not training you to win competitions (unless that's your goal). She's training you so picking up your grandkids doesn't hurt your back. So carrying groceries is easier. So you feel confident in your body's capabilities.
She makes you strong for life, not just for the gym.
Rose has been a cycling icon for years, and if you've ever taken one of her classes, you know why. She brings energy, expertise, and playlists that somehow make you forget your legs are on fire.
But beyond the bike, Rose understands cardiovascular training at a level most trainers don't. She can help you build endurance, improve your heart health, and actually enjoy cardio (yes, it's possible).
Whether you're training for your first 5K or you just want to climb stairs without getting winded, Rose knows how to get you there.
Laura is a board-certified Functional Nutritionist who also leads our BodySculpt Pilates/Barre classes. Let that sink in for a second.
How many gyms have someone on staff who understands both nutrition and movement at that level? Most trainers took a weekend certification in nutrition. Laura has actual credentials and years of experience.
She leads our Pilates and Barre classes with a focus on sustainable strength, flexibility, and body awareness. And if you're someone who knows that fitness and nutrition go hand-in-hand but has no idea how to make them work together, Laura can help you connect those dots.

Deb has been teaching Yoga and TRX since 2007. Think about that: she was doing suspension training before it was cool, and she's been helping people find balance, flexibility, and strength for nearly two decades.
She's the coach you want if you're focused on longevity and feeling good in your body for the long haul. Her classes aren't about trends or fads. They're about building a body that moves well and feels good year after year.
Here's what makes our group training programs different: we've built a team with complementary expertise—and we use it to create an experience that’s way bigger than “just a workout.”
Need to rebuild movement patterns after an injury? We've got that. Want to build serious strength? Covered. Looking to improve flexibility and reduce stress? Absolutely. Trying to figure out why you're working out but not seeing results? We can help with that too.
You're not getting one trainer's limited perspective. You're getting a whole team of specialists who collaborate to help you reach your goals—so you feel confident, cared for, and coached at a high level every time you walk in.
That’s what we mean by the ultimate fitness experience: real coaching, real community, and a place that feels like your third space—not a room full of strangers.
And because we offer small group personal training, you get that expertise without paying premium one-on-one prices. You get personalized attention and coaching in an environment where you're pushed by the people around you.
Look, I could have hired trainers with basic certifications who'd show up, count reps, and collect a paycheck. A lot of gyms do exactly that.
But that's not what we're about at The Fit Stop. We built this team intentionally—because you deserve more than access to equipment. You deserve the ultimate fitness experience: coaching that meets you where you are, a plan that makes sense, and a community that actually notices when you show up.
Every single coach brings something unique to the table, and together, they create an environment where you get results and enjoy the process.
Whether you're starting again after time away or you've never worked with a trainer before, you're in good hands here.
Want to meet the team yourself? Come by, and let's figure out which coach is the best fit for what you're trying to accomplish. No pressure, no sales pitch: just a real conversation about your goals and how we can help.
That's the Fit Stop difference. Real people. Real expertise. Real results.
